Ive been looking for this for a few years now - I really wish thunderchicken wrote more apps like this! Living in NM I have a delicious variety of incredible fruits and veggies not common in many parts of the country... Yes, in the desert! What were not growing locally & sustainably is easily imported from Mexíco or Guatamala... Any chance of adding these gems to your database? ;) Keep up the good work!!!

Simple but useful. Live/instant search would make it better. Id also like it if the time wasnt hidden - hate it when apps do that. Otherwise, its OK for the price (currently 99¢). Not sure if Id pay more than that.

For only .99 this has all the info you need on nutritional facts and whats in season and what has high pesticide ratings. As a new vegetarian this is highly useful! I was surprised to see the different levels of vitamins ... Who knew a red pepper has over twice the vitamin C as an orange! Great app.

Love this new app, so simple yet genius! This can also help save money from buying organic veggies and fruits when I dont have to. Love the cute veggie illustrations too.

This is an app I have always hoped for. Im serious. Its simple things like this that I need. $0.99 is definitely worth the developers time.

Very nice app, nice to have all info in one place. The Organic v. Pesticide lists are great too.

This is a wonderful app that shows you what vegetables are in season, but it tells you how to pick the freshest. The app tells you the best way to store the fruit as well. Its as though your Grandmother is beside you, showing you the ropes.

So nice to know which veggies are in season! Also, it is very cool to know which are ripe and which are not quite yet!! Thank you!

I would like to see more filter options or a sort based on vitamin / mineral content. I am sure there are other good data points to have this feature applied to as well.

Even though you can find out all this info with Google searches, its nice to have it all in one spot in such a tidy interface. To get 5 stars they need to add info on how to cut/ prepare/eat the food as I dont know what to do with this stuff once its home.

I downloaded this app about a week and a half ago, and used it a few times. I like the idea, and it was well worth the $.99. However, in the past two days and update was released and now the app will not open. I have an I phone 5S, running an older version of iOS and it wont work at all.

I believe youre doing a great job. But please change the image of the cranberries I do not link my food to dead animals. As soon as you change the picture Ill update the review.

Ive been trying for 2 days to do the update. I dont know what bug you fixed but it doesnt do me much good if I cant access the app.

Really clean app that is a breeze to use. I use it at the market to know which produce to look for and which to avoid. Also learned what a radicchio is!

Veggie Base is one of my favorite apps and its gotten even better with this release! So nice to finally see where I can buy locally and what the local farmers markets sell and their store hours. Highly recommended!
